The Student Senate is Metropolitan State University's governing body which conveys students' affairs to the administration, system, state and federal governments. It strives to be a student-centered enterprise that developes cooperative relationships with all sections of campus community.
Vision: to help each student achieve academic excellence and be a responsible citizen in a complex and culturally diverse world.
As a forum for student issues and needs, the Senate advocates accountability, responsiveness, and promotes community among students, faculty and staff.
